Bio
Lost Nebula emerged in late 2013 in Sonora, Mexico, with a vision to create a fresh sound and bring something new to the local music scene. Their unique style quickly resonated, earning them recognition both nationally and internationally. Following the release of their debut material, LOST NEBULA secured spots at major music festivals and events, both in Mexico and abroad. Their music was met with enthusiastic reception, propelling the band onto the global stage and solidifying their place in the music industry.
Harry
Bass player/songwriter
Harry had been playing bass for almost 20 years when a friend introduced him to the world of music at 14. He has participated in many projects, but Lost Nebula has been the most prolific one. Harry is the band's primary songwriter and founded Lost Nebula along with Quetzalín and Julio in 2013.
"In a country where society has developed a greater interest in everything and at the same time has forgotten the importance of art in general, I believe that the younger generation is the one who has the opportunity to bring back the richness of the art of music, and remind us how important it is in life. Therefore, it is important to provide children with all the necessary tools to develop their musical skills and return the beauty of music to the hearts of the people."
Quetzalín
Lead vocalist/songwriter
Coming from a family of musicians, Quetzalín started to sing professionally when she was in high school. She also has participated in local bands and different musical projects, and Quetzalín has collaborated with other essential bands and singers, mainly from Mexico and Canada. She is part of the songwriting process from Lost Nebula, where she constructs all the vocal melodies while she and Harry write lyrics.
"Music is art, a form of expression and how we develop our creativity. It makes me happy to be able to help children develop these skills through music, especially children who have a lot of desire and talent to exploit as their economic situation does not allow them. It is an experience that remains for life in your being and our hearts."
Julio
Guitarist
Playing guitar since high school and being inspired by bands like Iron Maiden, Nightwish, and System of a Down, Julio decided to become a guitarist to follow his idols. His style brings a heavier sound to Lost Nebula, helping to make it more versatile.
"Since the pandemic started, many young folks have lost the opportunity to grow as musicians since their families have not been able to support them economically, making them unable to start or continue their musical education."
Jordy
Drummer
Jordy, started to play drums when he was ten years old. He began to play with local bands at the age of 13 and has been active since then. Despite his style and musical influences being different from the rest of the band members, he still knows how to fit in Lost Nebula's style, resulting in something new and fresh. Jordy is recording drums in the future band's material.
"It seems a great opportunity to help the children of my community begin to develop their musical talent. As a musician, I find this a great way to give back to the local community that has supported me throughout my career."
